Katelynn Merkel Hosts Self-Defense Classes for Senior Project

Clark High School Senior Katelynn Merkel decides to host self-defense classes for her senior project.

Merkel's inspiration came from a film and her grammar and composition class, where she had written an accompanying paper on the topic of human trafficking. This led her to speak to Beret Ohm of Watertown, whose organization advocates and teaches people self-defense to protect themselves. Ohm was quickly on board to become Merkel's mentor, and the two set to organize a self-defense course in Clark High School.

Below are the details of the upcoming classes hosted by Katelynn Merkel and The Fallout Shelter.
